Summary0015348: Allow admin to approve unsubscribers
DescriptionLike http://mantis.phplist.com/view.php?id=15176 [^] but for unsubscribers. Those who need such a thing probably don't currently provide an unsubscribe link in their messages at all, so it would be an improvement for them.

Giving maximum subscription and unsubscription control to subscribers is obviously important, at least in all scenarios I can think of.

Including an unsubscribe link in each message is not only good practice, but a requirement for bulk mail with a number of large mail providers.

Why would it be an improvement to reduce or take away unsubscription control from subscribers?

Other than liberty to the admins in general (true liberty must go both ways - GPL style), phplist can also be used in organizations.
